The Eta Mu Omega Chapter (South Bend, IN) is excited to announce the success of its 23rd biennial Debutante Scholarship Cotillion hosted on Saturday, April 12, in the South Bend Century Center Discovery Ballroom. Sixteen (16) of Michiana's outstanding and elegantly gifted young ladies were introduced to the community. Chaired by our Basileus Adrienne Batteast and our Anti-basileus Aundrea Taylor, the Debutante ball was enjoyed by many through celebration, fellowship, laughter, and dance.
The sixteen debutantes were able to participate in civic and cultural activities, such as workshops addressing various topics like building and maintaining a personal brand, fostering self-esteem, exploring career choices, cultivating leadership skills, and preparing for success.
Reigning in Elegance, Debutantes performed the Minuet with their escorts and the Waltz with their fathers and father-figures. Additionally, scholarships and other honors were awarded to the debutantes and escorts.
